mission-net - Guiding the Future of the European Mission Movement

Mission-net is several things. Firstly it is a European wide network seeking to promote a missional lifestyle among young people. It is involved in promoting and encouraging new and existing mission movements, as well as providing a network of mission opportunities both locally, nationally and internationally. It also hosts a European wide congress every 2 years and brings together over 6000 youth from almost all of the European countries.

Mission-net is a movement that is commissioned by the European Evangelical Alliance, and the European Missionary Alliance. These are two organisations that together with their national organisations represent literally thousands of churches and missionary sending agencies across Europe.

Our goal is simple. According to Congress Director Andy Juliff:

“In a day and age where the subject of mission has been minimalised, we want to see a new wave of young people reaching out to their neighbours and the wider world!”

How are we going to achieve those goals? Our strapline states it quite clearly. We want to inspire people through our events and networks to help them see the potential of their life. We want to encourage them to step out in risk-taking faith and move into and participate in the things that God is already doing in Europe. We want to mobilise people to become life long champions and advocates for a missional lifestyle, and to stay on the cutting-edge by hearing and following God at every opportunity.
