Here are some of the top frequently asked questions about mission-net 2009:
WHEN IS IT?
April 8th-13th, 2009
WHERE WILL IT BE HELD?
The mission-net congress will be held at the Weser-Ems Hall. This is the largest exhibition centre in Oldenburg, Germany. The entire site will be reserved for the congress.
IS IT TRANSLATED?
Yes. During the congress simultaneous translation will be available from English into German/Dutch/Finnish/French/Greek/Italian/Norwegian/Portuguese/
Russian/Spanish. Translation into other languages will depend on the size of the language group. Many of the conference materials will also be translated into these languages as well.
WHAT ARE THE COSTS?
In order to give you the congress fees in your local currency, go to the REGISTER NOW page, and enter in your country of residence.
The fees quoted do not include travel or any visa requirements you need to enter Germany. However, the fees quoted include dormitory style accomodation and food from the evening meal on Wednesday 8th until breakfast on Monday 13th April, 2009.

DO YOU HAVE TO COME AS A GROUP?
No. Many young people attend the congress on their own. This is also a great opportunity to meet new people and make friends from all over Europe.
CAN I BRING MY YOUTH GROUP?
Yes, some churches are already making plans to bring their youth to the congress.
WHAT΄S THE PURPOSE OF THE CONGRESS?
The purpose of mission-net is to inspire a missional lifestyle among European Christian youth. We seek to accomplish this goal by;
1. Encouraging existing and promoting new 'mission-net movements' on a national and regional level across Europe.
2. Encouraging mobilisation and 'hands on' experience through facilitating and networking mission opportunities for young people at local, national and international level.
3. Bringing Christian young people together through a pan-European mission-net event for mutual encouragement, teaching, training and mobilisation.
HOW CAN I DISCOVER WHAT IS HAPPENING IN MY NATION?
As part of the registration process, we will put you in contact with a National Motivator for your country. They will be able to advise you on local and national congress events and details on travel arrangements.
